DN is proud of a long listing of successfully completed failure investigations. Our reputation stands on our independence, the accuracy of investigations, the speed of response and appropriate reporting. Since 1970 the staff of DN has been involved in determining the cause of failure of numerous and different structures and components. A wide range of ferrous, non-ferrous and non-metallic materials were encompassed.

Knowledge and experience and a blend of metallurgical, corrosion and chemical engineering techniques enable us to approach a failure without preconceptions. This results in a high probability of a correct diagnosis. Since 2005 Prof. Dr. Neubert is chairing the annual seminar “Failure Investigation” at the Haus der Technik, Esse. DN is particularly familiar with the requirements of independent technical investigations or expert testimony where cases are brought to litigation.

DN also provides a rapid troubleshooting service to industry. This service operates around the clock and provides an immediate response to the needs of industry. Our clients benefit from our sophisticated but rugged on-site testing facilities like computer-controlled ultrasonic devices which allow us to make measurements at a minimum of downtime.
